This class will provide the training needed to apply for the NC Concealed Carry Handgun permit.

NC state law requires this class to be at least eight hours long, plus range time.

The instructor is required to present one hour on the laws concerning the use of deadly force and one hour on the laws concerning concealed carry.

The student must pass a written test on the laws, and a shooting test. 

The format of the class and much of the content is up to the individual instructor.
