Bring your M1 Garand, M1903 Springfield or other vintage military rifle to compete in matches of prone and standing fire. 

Course of Fire

Stage 0 - Sight in period.  Minimum 15 min. Unlimited sighters.  This will be the only sight in period you get.  There will not be another sight in period before the second match.

Stage 1 - 10 shots slow fire from the prone position in a time limit of 10 min.  Fired on the SR target.

Stage 2 - 10 shot rapid fire from the prone position, starting from standing, in a time limit of 80 sec.  including one reload.  Fired on the SR target.

Stage 3 - 10 shots slow fire from the standing position in a time limit of 10 min. Fired on the SR target.

Match 2 is a repeat of the first, without the sight in period.

Matches

• Check-in starts at 8:00 AM.   
  
• Safety Brief at 8:30 AM.   
  
• Sight in time starts at 8:45 AM.
  
• Match begins at 9:00 AM.

Matches usually run until approximately 2:00 PM.

Equipment

Required Equipment: Hearing protection; eye protection.

Highly Recommended Equipment:  It is desirable but not mandatory that each shooter consider Long sleeve shirt and long pants, hat, sunscreen, shooting mat or carpet (about 3′ x 6′), ammo for practice, food and drink.

Entry Fees

• $25 .00 for club and non-club members
