Sponsored by MEC Outdoors and Hodgdon, this introductory course is designed for beginners who want to learn the essential knowledge, skills, and safe practices needed to reload shotgun shells confidently. Taught by an NRA-certified instructor, this course provides hands-on training in all stages of the shot shell reloading process.
Course Overview:
Class Hours: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Cost: $125.00 - Includes all books, materials and reloading components for the class
Instructor: NRA Certified
Equipment Provided: MEC Sizemaster Reloading Press, reloading components, and necessary tools
Prerequisites: None
Minimum Enrollment: 2 students
Each participant will learn:
* Safe reloading practices, including the proper use of casings (hulls).
* How to interpret reloading data and navigate a reloading manual.
* Step-by-step guidance through the shot-shell reloading process.
Upon course completion, students will receive the NRA Guide to Reloading handbook, a Basic Reloading Student Exam, a course completion certificate, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and a Course Evaluation form.
